Our story began when Greg Sinaiko, husband, father of 3, and former entrepreneur, was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma in 2015.
Through his diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and relapse in 2017, he constantly was seeking more information on the disease that brought so much change to his life. He searched the internet for sources and asked medical professionals, but there didn't seem to be any sort of organization that stood for Hodgkins lymphoma alone.
And with that, Beat Hodgkins Foundation was created. Greg was all too familiar with the emotional, mental, physical, and financial toll that Hodgkins lymphoma can have on a person, and wanted the information that he searched so hard to find to be at the fingertips of future patients and their caretakers, families, and friends.
Throughout his treatment and recovery Greg and his family became extremely involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), and this relationship still remains strong today. With how much they have done for him and so many lymphoma patients, Greg has decided to allocate the funds donated to his own start-up organization to LLS. These funds will be utilized mainly for research as well as accessibility for those affected by blood cancers.
At almost 4.5 years out from his stem-cell transplant in Oct. 2017, Greg has a new outlook on life.
